The name “Second Salem” comes from the early 20th century, when locals referred to Whitewater Wisconsin as “Second Salem” due to its reputation as a site of witch gatherings at the Witchtower, now the Starin Park water tower. Second Salem Brewing Company recognized that these tales could translate into extraordinary craft beers. Second Salem Brewing Company has created exciting craft beer from these legends in their one-barrel nano-brewery, also cooking up amazing food, a comfortable, inviting lounge, and a warm-weather patio overlooking Cravath Lake.
